Q14. What is bargaining? Is it different from Auctions?
A14. Bargaining is a new kind of buying model, which is different from auctions. Unlike the buyer Vs buyer method of auctions, bargaining is a buyer Vs seller model. In the auction model the seller starts with the lowest price he would accept and the buyers keep raising the price until one buyer wins the auction. Quite contrarily in the bargaining process the seller starts with the price he expects and a buyer can negotiate with the seller for a lesser price. Bargaining can be on the basis of both price and volume. When bargaining on price the buyer quote a bid at which he would like to purchase and negotiations keep happening until a decision is arrived at. When bargaining on volume a buyer tries to reduce price with the seller by agreeing to purchase a larger quantity of the product.

| |
Q17. When does a sale happen?
A17. A sale happens when the bid from the buyer and the offer from the seller match. A sale can also happen if the buyer agrees to pay the initial offer of the seller
| |

The first method is using the search bar wherein if you type in your product details it will show results in order of relevancy. You can also define criteria for search like the category or sub category within which you want to conduct the search. Another option is to search using the list of product categories and sub categories given on the home page. This will list all the products within that category.
